FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY, WOMAN DOCTORS ASSOCIATION CELEBRATED WOMEN’S DAY ON 16.3.2024.
Mrs. Khushal Bohra was felicitated for her contribution to the causeof vision. She was honoured by wda presidentDr Ranjanakumari and advisory and committee members.Mrs. Khushal Bohra spoke on how she overcome all odds at young age and continued to fulfill her goal of giving back to society especially in the field of vision.
It was followed by entertainment programme and games which was coordinated by Dr . Sripriya and Dr. Maheswari.
Invocation classical dance was presented by Dr.Sharmila .
Dr. Anandi and Dr. Aruna presented a beautiful sakthi dance.
A group dance performance by executive committee members[Dr Shaanthy Gunasingh, Dr Sripriya, Dr. Sudha, Dr .Anandi, Dr .Maheswari and Dr Akila conceptualized by Dr Namitha was a surprise event.
The program saw young talents from stanley medical college medicos performing a band with famous tamil, hindi and English numbers.
Dr Sripriya entertained the guests with her karoake songs.
Games were conducted which saw enthusiastic participation from the members attending the program.
Prizes were distributed by senior WDA members, advisory members and committee members.
Master of ceremony for the evening was by Dr. Nirmala ponnambalam.
There were 6 stalls exhibited by women entrepreneurs which made the program vibrant.
The event ended with high tea and lots of happy memories.
