The programme began with invocation song by Dr.S.Premaltha President WDA and she delivered the welcome address ..
The first speaker was Mrs Chandra Devi Thanikachalam Advocate who spoke about Indian Woman & the 21st Century.The second talk was on Healthy Heart is a Happy Heart which was delivered by Cardiologist Dr. Geetha Subramaniam . The talks were informative and appreciated by all. WDA honoured 3 very senior women doctors Dr.T.S.Kanaka, Dr Tara Natarajan & Dr MythiliBhaskar for their contributions to field of medicine .
This was followed by Entertainment which started with an invocation Dance to Lord Ganesh By Dr. Vasuki a Diabetologist at MMC . This was followed by a song sung by an MBBS UG student Nagalakshmi. The finale came in the form of a catwalk dance by group of MD General Medicine students of MMC The dancers were Dr. Amaravathy , Dr. Niveditha, Dr. Jothilakshmi, Dr. Aishwarya & Dr. Govarthini who were also joined by WDA member Dr. H. Sripriya as one of the dancers. After the entertaimnet section came on the games segment. Dr. Sasireka, Dr. Ranjanakumari & Dr Nanditha conducted various games such as passing the pillow, cellphone game , fox and the dog puzzle and newspaper costume game amongst others . The winners were given prizes .
