A CME – symposia CME -VACCINES – KNOW THE FACTS was organized on behalf of the woman doctors assiociation, by the Department of Physiology, Coimbatore Medical College on 3.3.2012. The function started with a welcome address by Dr. N.Neelambikai, MD, Prof & Head of the Department of Physiology, Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore. Key Note Address was delivered by Dr.Vasantha Elango MD. Professor & HOD, Department of Community Medicine , Coimbatore Medical College , Felicitations by Dr. Shaanthy Guna Singh MD,DGO, Vice President , Woman doctors Association, TamilNadu, Dr.Shanmughavadivu,MD, Professor of Physiology, Coimbatore Medical College proposed the vote of thanks.
The CME started with Immunisation schedule by Dr. V.Booma MD,DCH ,Asst Prof Dept of Pediatrics , CMCH, Hepatitis by Dr.B. Padmini MD Asst Prof, Dept of Microbiology, CMC, MMR by Dr.Geethanjali MD, Asst Prof, Dept of Paediatrics, Flu vaccine by Dr.R. Vani DTCD,Asst Prof,Dept of Thoracic Medicine, CMCH, Adult vaccination & Vaccines for International Travel by Dr.N.Neelambikai MD ,Prof & HOD, Dept of Physiology,Coimbatore Medical College.
The CME was attended by 100 enthusiastic participants .The CME was an excellent scientific feast to the participants which was very much appreciated.
