In the WDA annual conference 2025 at kings hotel , Egmore on 13.07.2025, there were 60 registrations .
The highlight of the conference was the inclusion of postgraduates in panel discussion on soft skill development, Alzheimer’s dialogue between professor and undergraduate student, practical topics like MTP and POCSO act, Role of vitamin d in women, common topics like headache and epistaxis management and a wholesome panel on obesity.
Mrs C. Shanthi MA was awarded the Mrs Malathy endowment award for her exemplary work in social service related to eye donation and cancer awareness.
Mr S.T kasirajan oration medal was awarded to Dr Nirmala Jayasankar by Dr Shaanthy Gunasingh.
E Poster presentation by students and paramedics were awards with prizes and certificates.
Women entrepreneurs were given space to show case their products.
General body meeting was conducted by President Dr Ranjanakumari and elections were held for the term 2025 – 2027.
