WDA TN conducted a Health camp in WIA Centenary celebration at Dr.MGR Janaki college of Arts and Science for women at R.A.Puram ,Chennai on 16 February 2017 .
Four doctors Dr.M.L.Shyamala, Dr.Nandinee ,Dr.Lakshmi Arangan and Dr.Vijayalakshmi Sadasivam came for the camp . General check up BP, Blood sugar ,and Breast cancer screening were done. Forty five people were seen in the camp.
Following conditions were diagnosed –
Hypertension – 2
Diabetes – 7
APD & GERD – 3
URI -2
OA both knees – 1
Lowbackache – 3
Anaemia – 2
Sebaceous cyst chest wall -1
Patchy Alopaecia -1
Primary Ammenorrhoea-1
Menstrual irregularities -2
Hypothyroidism -3
Toothache -1
Patients were advised regarding further investigations and treatment .
